Nick Rendell

Senior Physiotherapist

  • Nick is our senior physiotherapist and encourages exercise based treatment for the best possible long term result. He is a strong believer in training for the correct muscle use and sustaining body strength to prevent the recurrence of injury. Nick is able to treat acute pain symptoms not only with his hands on approach, but also with the use of dry needling.

    Nick treats a diverse range of injuries, with a particular interest in knee related cases, including ACL, hamstring and ankle injuries. He also has great knowledge regarding upper limb injuries including shoulder bursitis, impingement and rotator cuff tears. Nick has a strict manner towards trusting the body and what it can handle, and with consistent reassurance, he continues to obtain great results with his patients.

    Nick enjoys being involved and helping in the community through sponsorship, representing the clinic at events, as well as the use of our studio for local sporting clubs. Nick also makes every opportunity to be available for public speaking, sharing with others the benefits of physiotherapy and the importance on keeping the body moving.

Kara Rendell

Practice Manager / Pilates Instructor

  • Kara is the backbone of our team at Advanced Physio Solutions. She project managed the renovation of our historic building for 3 years from start to finish and now manages the practice on all levels.

    Kara comes with years of experience as a personal trainer, running both small and large group fitness sessions. These include boxing, tabata, metafit, bootcamps, circuit and HIIT. She also conducts individualised personal training sessions with a wide range of clients.

    Advanced Physio Solutions are home to a state of the art pilates studio. After completing multiple pilates courses, Kara’s sole focus is now to deliver her knowledge in some of the most incredible and unique reformer based classes.

Lahni Smith

PINC Cancer Rehab Physio / Pilates Instructor

  • Lahni joined the team in early 2022 after relocating to the Yorke Peninsula to continue her physio career which she started in Adelaide. She is no stranger to country living though- growing up on the Eyre Peninsula and in the Barossa Valley. Lahni loves the lifestyle that being a rural Physio offers and equally loves being able to offer Physio services to the rural community!

    Lahni enjoys working with a variety of clients and presentations. Her main goal is to provide reassurance, education and guidance to help you feel confident with what your body can do through different phases of an injury, diagnosis or life stage. Exercise is a big part of her treatment toolkit, but also recognises the benefits of hands on treatment too. 

    Lahni is a qualified PINC Cancer Rehab Physio and has also completed the Oncology Scar Specialist training through Restore Therapy. She has experience in the Return to Work, NDIS and orthopaedic rehab spaces. Lahni also teaches some of our ‘Kara Pilates’ exercise classes.

    Outside of the clinic you could find Lahni on the netball court, at her sewing machine, listening to music or enjoying time with family and friends.

Harry Hamilton

Physiotherapist

  • Harry joined the team in 2025 after relocating to the Yorke Peninsula. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy and is excited to be part of a rural community, providing care to people of all backgrounds. His passion for rural and remote healthcare began during his short time in East Arnhem Land, where he learned from the Yolŋu people and gained insight into the diversity of treatment approaches and the importance of working with individuals to achieve their personal goals.

    Harry enjoys working with a variety of clients and has a particular interest in balance, sports, and strength training. Having spent much of his teenage years playing volleyball while managing injuries, he has a keen interest in helping adolescents navigate training loads and injury management. He focuses on helping people build confidence in their movement, using a mix of exercise-based rehab and hands-on treatment to support recovery and performance.

    Outside the clinic, you might find Harry on the golf course, playing football, or out camping and making the most of the great outdoors.

Lauren Maxwell

Pilates Instructor

  • Lauren is Studio Pilates trained and you’ll find her in the Studios every Saturday morning.

    She is also a Personal trainer at Guns and Buns in Kadina.

    Lauren’s classes are well-planned and executed with modifications for all levels.

    Lauren’s love of sports shows in her teaching. She is a netball nerd and a few ACL surgeries have taught her patients and understanding of injuries and the importance of rehab.

    She is a farm girl at heart and loves learning all about health, fitness and exercise, in her free time.

Kylie Boulter

Receptionist

  • After working in Hospitality for over 15 years as a Restaurant Manager, Duty Manager, and Front Office, in Adelaide and Queensland, Kylie moved into an Administrative and accounting role within a large Hotel group in Adelaide for 5 years. Like a lot of people, Covid changed her circumstances within the hospitality industry.

    She and her partner had bought a property in Moonta a few years before Covid with the intention of moving over sometime way into the future, but she moved over a lot faster than they thought when she took the plunge and was welcomed into the team in June 2021.

    Outside of work, Kylie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her beautiful Kelpie, reading, going to the theatre and concerts, travelling and cooking.
